The Library at The Yale club
A tranquil oasis in the heart of midtown
With its gold coffered ceiling and handsome, comfortable spaces, this active lending library offers a tranquil haven for when you want to read or study, browse through a magazine, or wirelessly surf the web. The library also holds a selection of financial and legal reference books, newspapers, and popular periodicals. For parents visiting with young ones, there is even a collection of children's books.
In the cozy, mahogany-paneled Clarence Day Room, you'll find a collection of Yale memorabilia (class books, reunion books, the Yale Alumni Magazine). Members can also rent this space
for groups of up to eight through the club's reservationist.
The Library is open year-round and is staffed:
Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (8:00 am to 3:00 pm during July and August).
The dress code in the Library is business casual. Denim, neat and in good repair, is welcome. No athletic wear, shorts, or flip-flops permitted.
