Visiting Chef Eric Hara of davidburke & donatella

Eric Hara, Executive Chef at davidburke & donatella, comes to The Yale Club on Thursday, May 15 with a wonderful array of distinctive courses. Chef Hara has developed the kind of innate understanding of flavor that distinguishes the nation’s best chefs. At the age of twenty-six, having already amassed nearly a decade of experience, Chef Hara arrived in New York and claimed an Executive Chef position at a two-star eatery, Chez Josephine. Chef Hara then sharpened his skills alongside Rick Laakkonen before joining David Burke at davidburke & donatella. Chef Hara’s commitment to the simplicity of American flavors complements Chef Burke’s innovative cuisine. Chef Burke says, “Eric is a talented, ambitious young chef who possesses great knowledge of the classics and a desire to create and experiment in a mature mind set.” Consummate host and Emmy-winner Bill Boggs will preside as master of ceremonies for the event. Please reserve space at Chef Hara’s dinner and demonstration for $75 per person plus tax and gratuity by Tuesday, May 13. The event begins at 6:00 pm in the Roof Dining Room.
