Whether it be a summer softball game in Central Park, a Saturday morning serving food at the soup kitchen in the East Village, or dancing with a drink in hand to live music at our Holiday Party, the Virginia Club of New York brings together UVA alumni to enjoy each other's company while taking part in fun and fulfilling events throughout New York City.

Since 1995, a unique alliance between the Virginia Club and The Yale Club has given UVA alumni access to membership in The Yale Club of New York City. Virginia Club clubhouse members also enjoy The Yale Club's network of carefully selected reciprocal clubs which includes the most popular destinations in 15 major countries and 20 states. Clubhouse membership is available to all Virginia degree holders, faculty, and full-time graduate students. Dues are charged on a monthly basis and are calculated based on two metrics: year of graduation and proximity of applicants’ residence to the Yale Club.

Should you decide to join as a clubhouse member, kindly fill out the online application. Once the form is received, our Executive Director will reach out with next steps – which include submitting your initial payment and a headshot – within three business days. After payment submission, membership activation will occur within another three business days. You will receive a confirmation with your active account number and instructions to download your virtual membership card.
