Young Member Events
When you ask recent grads why they moved to New York City, you’ll hear something to the effect of, “It just seems like the place to be.” New York has such a vibrant and active Yale community, full of young Yalies with a common goal: they want to be in the city. Whether you’re here for a year, a few, or indefinitely, the Club is your stand-in residential college, right in the heart of midtown.
Vanderbilt Avenue is the Old Campus of New York City. You’re bound to run into someone you know on the way to the gym, studying for the GRE in the Library, or grabbing dinner (yes, in denim!) in the Grill Room. Occasionally, we party too. Whether it’s our All-Ivy spring dance party in the Lounge, our summer boat cruise, or a very special, very festive Ugly Sweater party over the holidays, Yale Club Young Members know how to have a good time. They also host an array of tours, tastings, and of course Thursday Night Cocktails for Yalies young and old in the lazy days of summer. Look for the Young Members’ stamp in the Club’s newsletter and online for special events catered to Yale’s younger generations.
